- Bill has a molded face, while other engines have computer printed ones. Gator, Scruff, Ben, Flynn, Duck, Kevin, Rebecca, and Diesel 10 also have this feature.
- Bill and Ben share the same mold, since they have the same basis.
- Bill is the only engine in the Classics theme from the 2015 series not to be re-released in the 2016 series. He was however released in a 3-Pack that year.
